Kim Jinyi
CEO of Tong Productions

After majoring in the gayageum in high school and at university, Kim Jinyi worked as a scriptwriter for TBS, Arirang TV, EBS, K-TV, KBS, and other gukak (traditional Korean music) broadcasting programs. Since 2002 she has headed Tong Productions, planning, producing, and directing traditional music performances, always intent on creating new performance and meeting many artists through varied performances.

Ahn Mihee
Head of Policy Planning Team, Gwangju Biennale Foundation

After graduating from Kyungpook National University with a degree in Studio Art, Ahn Mihee studied Museum Studies at NYU and Contemporary Art History at the Pratt Institute in New York. Working as an independent curator in New York, she curated numerous exhibitions. In 2005 she was an exhibition advisor at the Queens Museum of Art and in 2007 directed a project on the Guest of Honor country project at ARCO in Spain. Since 2005 she has headed the exhibition team at the Gwangju Biennale Foundation and in the following years oversaw the exhibitions of Kim Honghee, Okwui Enwezor, and Massimiliano Gioni in 2006, 2008, and 2010 Gwangju Biennale, respectively. Currently she heads the Policy Planning Team at the foundation.

Ahn Tae-ho
Bucheon Cultural Foundation Culture Project Department Head

Ahn Tae-ho studied Korean literature at university and arts management in graduate school. He has been or currently resides as the editor of [Culture News], a member of the Research Center for Art and Urban Society, a board member of the Humanities Social Research Institute, a member of the editorial board at the monthly [Big Issue Korea], and a member of the editorial board at the quarterly [Salim Story]. He has contributed to books such as and others.

Yi Su-hyun
Producer at the National Theater Company of Korea

She has worked at Eda Entertainment, independent planner group Yeouzac, and at the Doosan Art Center as a producer. She is currently a producer at the National Theater Company of Korea.

Jeong Hee Sub
Director of the Cultural Policy Network of Korea

Jeong Hee Sub majored in French education at Seoul National University and completed his master’s degree in arts management at Chung-Ang University. He had a brief stint as a high school teacher in Jindo, Jeollanam-do. From 1995 to 1998 he resided as the manager of planning at the Institute of Literature and from 2000 to 2002 headed the performance team at the National Theater of Korea. Since 2003 he has headed the Cultural Policy Network of Korea.

Choi Doin
METAA Co., Ltd / Executive Director of Strategy and Development

Choi Doin has supervised consulting—of arts management, cultural spaces, cultural urban strategy, and more—at METAA. Major projects include the arts management consulting on Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and on Asian Arts Theatre; the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra project is currently being used as a case study at Columbia Business School. He planned and supervised the Korean publication of , the work of Charles Landry, a world expert on creative cities. Since 2011 he took the role as a project director of Nomadic Artists’ Journey, a collaborative, creative project between artists and producers in Northern Asia.

Hong Kiwon
Head of the Cultural Administration Program in the Graduate School of Policy and Industry at Sookmyung Womens University

Hong Kiwon’s main area of research includes international cultural exchange, multicultural policy, and policy evaluation. Currently Hong is active as the Korean Cultural Policy Profile partner(author) at the WorldCP (Compendium on Cultural Policy), run by the EU, ERICArts, and IFACCA.
